Miniature model photography of Michael Paul Smith

Elgin Park Morning, photograph of a constructed scene

Michael Paul Smith uses Gator board, styrene plastic, Sintra, and found objects to portray the past. He photographs some of the scenes outdoors at different times of the day. He states about his work:
What started out as an exercise in model building and photography, ended up as a dream-like reconstruction of the town I grew up in. It's not an exact recreation, but it does capture the mood of my memories.

  1. Wow these are amazing! I think this may be my new hobby

  2. I love them too! I can't imagine the amount of work it would take to recreate something like that.
